Privacy policy

Short version: Dropzero has no accounts, no tracking and no advertising. What you follow stays on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Dropzero has no sign-up, no login and no user profiles. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and we do not use advertising identifiers.

What stays on your device

The games you follow, the shelf each one sits on, your reminders, your chosen language and theme, and your notification settings are stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes them. We never receive this data.

What our server sees

The app fetches game information through our own proxy so that API credentials never ship inside the app. Those requests contain the list or game being viewed and ordinary technical details such as an IP address, handled by our hosting provider for delivery and abuse prevention. We do not build profiles from them and we do not sell or share them.

Where the data comes from

Game titles, artwork, release dates, ratings and trailers come from IGDB.com. Price information, where shown, comes from CheapShark. Cover images are loaded directly from IGDB and are not re-hosted.

Links to stores

Game pages link to storefronts such as Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox, Nintendo, Epic, GOG, Fanatical and Green Man Gaming. Some of these links may carry a referral code, which can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Following a link takes you to that store, where the store's own privacy policy applies.

Notifications

Release reminders, delay alerts and showcase reminders are generated on your own device. No push service is used and no notification content leaves your phone.

Children

Dropzero is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
